Important Information about Booking with cruisingcoast2coast
CruisingCoast2Coast endeavour to ensure all passengers complete satisfaction in making their cruise holiday arrangements, however it is understood that CruisingCoast2Coast is acting on your behalf and it is therefore necessary to make a few normal conditions, as follows: CruisingCoast2Coast is a fully bonded ABTA member and act as retail agents for ATOL holders. Please be aware that CruisingCoast2Coast are acting solely as your booking agent, subject to which all bookings are accepted.
Liability
All bookings accepted by CruisingCoast2Coast and arrangements made are subject to the booking conditions imposed by the principals. The principals are the cruise operators and the airlines. All tickets, vouchers and coupons are issued by CruisingCoast2Coast in their capacity as Retail Agents for ATOL Holders, upon the express condition that CruisingCoast2Coast is not liable to any passenger for loss, damage, delay, injury, cancellation, or any additional expense, suffered by any passenger whatsoever, or any cause beyond CruisingCoast2Coast's control shall be occasioned by CruisingCoast2Coast or any of its officials, agents or representatives. The total liability of CruisingCoast2Coast shall not exceed the total payment received from the client in respect of any booking.
Payment
Payment will be required as per the booking conditions of the principal. Generally bookings outside 12 weeks require a deposit with the balance required 12 weeks prior to departure. If booking within 12 weeks of departure full payment will be required immediately. The exact payment requirements for your chosen cruise operator will be advised at the time of booking. If, after a deposit is taken, the balance is not paid by the designated time, CruisingCoast2Coast reserve the right, after due notice to the client, to cancel the booking and all deposits and assurances will be forfeited. Any charge imposed by the principal to cancel the booking, will be the liability of the customer.
Insurance
We strongly advise you to take out a fully comprehensive insurance which will give adequate cover against Medical Expenses, Personal Accident, Cancellation, Curtailment, Baggage, Personal Effects and Money. Visas, Vaccinations and Passports:
Passports, visas and health
All passengers must have a 10-year British Citizen passport (5 year for children). You should note that some countries require your passport to remain valid for a minimum period after the return date to the UK (typically 6 months). If your passport is in its final year of validity, you should check with the embassy of the country you are visiting, otherwise travel may be denied. As it is not possible to claim against your insurance cover should travel be refused in these circumstances, we suggest you allow plenty of time to make these checks.
Please be aware customers are responsible for any visa or inoculation requirements for their destination. You may wish to obtain a copy of a useful booklet called Health Advice for Travellers (T6) available by calling 0800555777. Up to date travel advice can also be obtained from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office on 0207 238 4503 or their website www.fco.gov.uk
Changes and cancellations
Any booking cancellation must be made to CruisingCoast2Coast in writing, by Recorded Delivery. We cannot accept cancellation by telephone. Cancellations are effective from the date we receive them. Upon receipt we will contact the relevant cruise operator to ascertain the relevant charges. You will then be liable for those charges.
