Minerva combines the benefits of a small ship with the comfort of a country house style hotel, a combination that proved to be so popular when previously operated. An expansive refurbishment programme was undertaken prior to the vessel re-entering service.

The programme of discovery cruises features established favourite destinations – world-class cities such as St Petersburg, Istanbul, Venice and Rome – as well as those less easily accessible destinations, where a smaller ship such as Minerva is often able to berth alongside. In addition the introduction to a new frontier with the Antarctica expedition cruising season.
